Famous White River trout fishing is a close drive from the lodge.
Crooked Creek is a half mile from the lodge, well known for it's Smallmouth Bass fishing. There are several places for canoers or kayakers to access the water.

There are several restaurants located in Yellville. A barbecue restaurant, pizza shop featuring famous french dough, Mexican, two that offer country cooking and Subway. Some are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
